Public Walks operate on published dates and may require a minimum number of participants. The individual listings will explain the Cancellation, Transfer and weather arrangements. If no public walks are available, you can still browse our walks catalogue and enquire about a private booking.

Our Public walks are Guided history tours offered on specific dates and times. Our Upcoming Walks section shows the dates of upcoming walks.
You can book a place as an individual or reserve upto 4 places. Each walker is charged a per person rate which is shown in the walk description.
Each walk usually has a maximum capacity of 15 walkers. if you would like to book a larger group, please us the Private walk enquiry.

Sending an enquiry does not commit you to a booking.
You will receive a proposal confirming the availability, arrangements and price.
If you accept the proposal, I will confirm your booking and explain the payment process.

For Public Walks, when you select the walk and date from the advertised Upcoming walks the per person price is shown and bookings made online through the website.
For Private Walks, there is a single price, irrespective of the group size (upto a maximum of 12). You select the route, the date and the time. visit our walks catalogue for further details

Public Walks: Group sizes are no more than 15 per walk (on some itineraries the maximum group size may be smaller due to the location / nature of the walk). We may cancel a walk with less than 4 participants.
Private Walks: On a private walk, you decide who’s in the group! There’s no minimum and up to a maximum of 12 per walk).
Larger groups can be catered for but lease contact us using the Private walk enquiry form for details and prices

Well behaved dogs and (older) children are welcome. Guided walks are not well suited to very young children. Owners / Parents should consider whether the itinerary and location are suitable.
We provide guided history walks that will involve walking, talking and standing outdoors.
Owners / Parents remain responsible for their Pets / Children throughout and if misbehaving may be asked to leave.
